It's Still Going On, Folks

For the past year, Ed has been working stateside as part of the Active Guard Reserve. No deployments in sight, which is a huge relief for Kathy.

However, too many families, or too few, depending how you look at it, are still in the thick of things. This heartbreaking piece in the the Washington Post reminds us that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been anything but a shared sacrifice.
