In the Sandbox
After spending an extra day in Kuwait due to a duststorm, Eddy and the rest of the 115 MPAD arrived late last week in Iraq. I haven't heard from him in a few days, but lest that worry any of you who are even greater worriers than me, I'm guessing it's because he's 1) busy (lack of sleep has replaced the scorching weather as the chief topic of his emails) or 2) because the Army has put a contact blackout in place as they do sometimes. As he repetedly told me before he left, if there is no news for a few days, he's ok. It's when the men in uniform show up at your door that something is wrong.
